# Trace Bureau > UK address tracing service founded and run by a professional investigator. Instruct online in five minutes. More than 150 sources, registers and records are cross-referenced and a person checks every case. The client's card is saved at instruction and charged only when the person's current registered UK address is delivered, with a confidence rating. Standard £100 (3 to 5 working days), Express £150 (48 hours), Priority £195 (24 hours, same working day before noon). Firms instructing ten or more a month pay £85 per trace on a monthly invoice and get a portal, bulk CSV upload and an API. Extras where on file: mobile number £25, email address £20, employer £35, charged only if found. Trace Bureau finds current residential addresses in the United Kingdom for people who have a lawful reason to know them: money owed, legal proceedings and service of documents, probate and beneficiaries, former tenants, commercial disputes, and consent-based reconnection with relatives or friends. It records a lawful basis for every instruction under UK GDPR and refuses instructions without one. Minimum information to trace: the person's full legal name plus at least one of a date of birth or a previous address. Reports are dated PDFs stating the current registered address and a confidence rating (Confirmed, Probable or Possible). Trace Bureau does not publish its sources or method and is not a debt collection agency. ## Key pages - [Home](https://tracebureau.co.uk/): what the service is and who uses it - [Pricing](https://tracebureau.co.uk/pricing): £100 Standard, £150 Express, £195 Priority, £85 at volume, extras, what "charged only if found" means - [How it works](https://tracebureau.co.uk/how-it-works): the six steps and the confidence ratings - [Is address tracing legal in the UK?](https://tracebureau.co.uk/is-address-tracing-legal): lawful basis, what is refused, rights of the person traced - [About](https://tracebureau.co.uk/about): founded and run by a professional investigator - [FAQ](https://tracebureau.co.uk/faq): prices, timing, what you receive, who can instruct, data retention - [For solicitors](https://tracebureau.co.uk/for-solicitors): dated, rated reports, Priority within 24 hours, matter references on every invoice line - [Firm accounts](https://tracebureau.co.uk/trade): portal, bulk upload, API, one monthly invoice, for solicitors, letting agents, recovery firms, process servers and insolvency practitioners - [Bulk upload and API](https://tracebureau.co.uk/developers): CSV upload and JSON API with signed webhooks - [Areas covered](https://tracebureau.co.uk/tracing-agent): a page for every major UK city and region - [Instruct a trace](https://tracebureau.co.uk/instruct) ## Use cases - [Trace a debtor](https://tracebureau.co.uk/use-cases/trace-a-debtor) - [Trace a former tenant](https://tracebureau.co.uk/use-cases/trace-a-former-tenant) - [Serve court documents](https://tracebureau.co.uk/use-cases/serve-court-documents) - [Find a beneficiary](https://tracebureau.co.uk/use-cases/find-a-beneficiary) - [Reconnect with someone, with their consent](https://tracebureau.co.uk/use-cases/reconnect-with-someone) ## Guides - [No find, no fee address tracing: what it really means](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/no-find-no-fee-address-tracing): money leaves your account only when the report is delivered - [How to choose a tracing agent in the UK](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/how-to-choose-a-tracing-agent-uk): the nine-point checklist - [How to find someone's address in the UK](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/how-to-find-someones-address-uk) - [What is a tracing agent and when do you need one?](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/what-is-a-tracing-agent) - [How much does a tracing agent cost in the UK?](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/tracing-agent-cost-uk) - [Tracing a debtor before issuing a claim](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/trace-a-debtor-before-court) - [Serving court documents when you don't have an address](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/serving-documents-address-unknown) - [Landlord's guide to tracing a former tenant](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/landlord-guide-tracing-former-tenant) - [Finding missing beneficiaries: a guide for executors](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/finding-missing-beneficiaries) - [How to find a lost relative or old friend in the UK](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/find-a-lost-relative-or-friend-uk) - [Why free people-search sites rarely find a current UK address](https://tracebureau.co.uk/guides/why-free-people-search-fails-uk) ## Facts - Coverage: United Kingdom.
