What do you need from me?
The tenant’s full legal name, plus the address they rented from you or a date of birth. Tenancy dates and anything else you know make the result faster and surer.
When is my card charged?
Only when we deliver a current registered address rated Confirmed or Probable. A Possible result is offered at half the fee and you choose whether to take it. If we cannot establish an address, nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund.
What do I receive?
A dated PDF report with the current registered address and our confidence rating, sent by email. Landlords and agents use it for a deposit dispute, a rent arrears claim or to serve a claim form.
Is this lawful?
Yes, when there is a genuine reason, such as recovering rent arrears or a deposit shortfall, or serving a claim. Every instruction needs a lawful purpose, confirmed before we start, and we decline anything without one.
Can you trace a guarantor as well?
Yes. Each person is a separate trace, and each is charged only when we deliver.
How long does it take?
Standard is 3 to 5 working days. Priority is 2 to 3 working days, worked the day it is accepted.
