What "charged only if found" means
Your card is charged when, and only when, we deliver a current registered UK address rated Confirmed or Probable. A Possible result is offered at half price and you choose whether to take it. A no-find is never charged. Cancelling before the trace starts is free; once it is under way a cancellation carries the £60 work-started fee, not the trace fee. Prices are what you pay.
What organisations and professionals get
The private-client list is for an individual instructing for themselves and comes with the standard dated report. The professional list, for anyone acting for a client or an organisation, comes with your matter reference on the report, a signed statement for exhibiting on request, a free re-check within 60 days, business terms and, on a firm account, one monthly invoice with a line per matter, a portal, bulk upload and an API. The instruction form asks which applies, and under our terms the professional list applies to professional instructions whichever box was ticked.
